Kairos is seeking a full-time INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY THERAPIST for our youth residential treatment program. Therapist will provide intensive treatment services to mentally challenged at-risk youth (11-17) in a new therapeutic crisis care unit within Kairos' psychiatric co-ed residential treatment program located in the Grants Pass, OR area. The new Crisis Unit has been created to help provide psychiatric care for youth experiencing a crisis who are admitted into area hospital emergency rooms or have other acute need. Youth will be assessed upon admission and given appropriate treatment with plans and information explained to their families in a more conducive trauma-informed, safe, therapeutic treatment environment. Care is client-centered with family and/or care-team involvement including wrap-around services. F/T shifts will include a rotation of QMHP on-call responsibilities for agency programs approximately every 12 weeks. Therapists provide individualized, focused treatment with a small caseload; assessment, treatment planning, and team facilitation.
