Community Skills Coach (Coastline Services, North Bend)

Hours: Regular work schedule is M-F (8:00AM- 5PM) with additional once/month Mobile Crisis Unit on-call rotation schedule for the following hours: M-F 5-11pm and Sat-Sun 3-11pm                                        

Compensation: $12.45-$17.27 per Hour DOE

Benefits: Up to 96 Hours paid time-off + 1 week of paid sick-time the first year of employment, 6 paid holidays per year, health, vision and dental insurance, 401k with up to 6% employer contribution. Agency is qualified for federal student aid public service loan forgiveness program.

About this position:
The Community/Mobile Crisis Unit Skills Coach will be working with at-risk emotionally and behaviorally challenged youth in various treatment environments including home and community. Will be working with youth and their families teaching new skills to facilitate the development of appropriate behaviors, self-expression and social interaction plus teaching, modeling and coaching life skills. Will work as part of a Care Team in assessing the needs of the youth and in the coordination of services.

Successful candidates will have:
Baccalaureate degree in Psychology, Sociology or Human Services related field or Associates degree plus one year experience in a related field; preferably Psychiatric residential treatment or group care with adolescents or children or similar setting or High School diploma plus a combination of three years' work experience, education, or training in a related field, preferably in Psychiatric residential treatment or group care with adolescents or children. Provide proof of current, valid Oregon driver's license (or if out-of-state will obtain Oregon license within 30 days), comprehensive automobile insurance (if applicable) and a safe driving record (minimum of 3 yrs.) to use company or personal vehicle for required duties.
